I created this art to reflect my frustratation of being a successful black woman trying to date. I revamped a design from Roy Litchenson to reflect my own self. This self portrait is a symbol of my aunts and other successful single black women who share the same frustration as me

My name is Jasmyne Johnson. currently I’m an art teacher for elementary schools. Previously I was a Graphic Coordinator for Warner Brothers where I designed and installed sets for various broadcasting studios. I am a creative of multiple mediums, painting, printmaking graphic design, motion graphics and many more. My creativity is inspired by God everyday I am inspired by the amazing things he created. Within my work I try to advocate for environmentalism, culture and community.
